Cignano

The company acquires its name from the toponym of the hill on which the vineyards and centuries-old olive trees stand. “Cignano” seems to derive from the transformation of Latin terms linked to the Roman presence on our territory; we are, in fact, on the island of Fano in the valley of the Tarugo torrent, perpendicular to the valley of the Matauro river, very close to the ancient Forum Sempronii, today Fossombrone

Cignano boasts 15 hectares of land dedicated to the cultivation of: Bianchello, Sauvignon Blanc, Sangiovese and Montepulciano. The vineyards stand on a yellow sandstone hill, where the favorable microclimate guarantees an excellent quality level of the grapes.
